Top left hot corner in W8 blows

Does anyone have a way to disable certain hot corners?

The top left hot corner makes no sense to me. Not only do I not need or want an application switcher on my desktop for metro apps, but the hot corner area covers up parts of the first tab and the back button in chrome (when full screen) resulting in frequent misclicks. It's a nightmare.
