Dell's Ivy Bridge Inspiron 15R and 17R ranges now on sale
Dell is now selling its refreshed Inspiron 15R and 17R laptops through its online store. The laptops, which we spent some time with earlier this month, feature either 15- or 17-inch displays and, in typical Dell fashion, are available in a number of different configurations. Some of the most expensive options include a 3D 1080p display, a quad-core Ivy Bridge i7 processor, a Blu-ray drive, an Nvidia GeForce GT 650M discrete graphics card, and up to 8GB of RAM. There are also editions with Skull Candy speakers built in, as well as optional solid-state mSATA drives that increase the bootup speed and resume times.
The Inspiron 15R starts from $549.99. which will get you a last-gen Sandy Bridge Core i3 processor, 6GB of RAM, and a 500GB hard drive. A similarly-specced Inspiron 17R will set you back $599.99.
