Best way to get music onto my Galaxy Tab??
Good morning Verge forum members,
I am hoping that you will be gentle with a first time poster. :) I didn't post this in the tablets forum because I felt I could get more eyeballs here.
I am what you guys would probably consider an average consumer. I have a Motorola Atrix OG running Gingerbread and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 running Honeycomb. I have enjoyed my Android experience for the most part and find that I enjoy the ability to customize my phone and tab the way I would like.
I prefer to remain unrooted, however because I am not comfortable with hacking my devices. I think that level of tech is a bit beyond me. Maybe I will be braver with my next devices. LOL!
What I am seeking your help with is the best way to get music onto my tab so that I can stream using a music player when I am not near a Wi-Fi connection. From my understanding, uploading to Google Music is an option but not good for usage if I am not near a connection. I am planning to rip my CDs onto my laptop running Vista Home using Windows Media Player and then go from there.
Would I be able to upload files to my Dropbox or Box accounts and stream that way?
Am I totally offbase all together??
Any assistance that the Vergers could provide would be helpful. Thanks!
