Windows Phone 8 and Windows RT should merge
With today announcement of Windows Phone 8 featuring a "Windows Core" which is basically an NT kernel and related operating system elements; the similarities between Windows Phone 8 and Windows RT are growing and i think they should merge into one ecosystem. they both:
- Run on Arm
- Share lots of code
- Uses Windows NT kernel
- Uses DirectX engine
- Uses NTFS file system
- Designed for finger touch from day one
- Uses Metro UI and tile start menu
