WP 7.8 My opinion on the matter
Hi this is my first time posting here, but I felt I wanted to voice my opinion on the matter. I am excited to get the update later this year (7.8) for the UI changes but I am frustrated that I won't be getting the latest apps made in the new code (most big developers will be making the apps in the new code cause it is simpler to do so). I understand that legacy Windows Phones will not be using all the features in the new kernel but it will help the legacy hardware get all the new apps using the new code. I cant see why they couldn't find a way. I don't know too much about kernels and code, but I see Apple being able to pull it off and I am able to get a lot but not all the apps on my 2nd gen iPod Touch and that is really old. So why cant such a big company like Microsoft do the same?
