Windows 8 front end features
"What we are not doing today is disclosing the end user features. We have pretty cool things to talk about that you are not gonna get to hear about today. What we are gonna do is focus on the plat form and how that improves..."
The storm hasn't passed yet. They only talked about 8 features that were enabled due to the new shared Windows core. They have yet to talk about end-user features; I would expect that some of these features will come in Windows Phone 7.8 update, ones that are not hardware dependent.
Some reports suggest that Windows Phone 7.5 has now gained around 5-6% market share, a big jump. Do you guys think that with Windows Phone 8, this platform can fulfill one of the analyst's prediction it will have more market share than IPhone by 2016, not that Microsoft will sit on its bum for next 4 or so years .
