Motorola promised that its Droid RAZR family — which includes both RAZR and RAZR Maxx — would be getting Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of the second quarter. That upgrade has now been confirmed and dated by Verizon: Android 4.0.4 is coming today. The upgrade will also make the pair Verizon's first 4G LTE smartphones to be Global Ready, allowing for voice and data in over 220 countries (assuming you have an international data plan, that is). Other enhancements include a customizable launch bar, enhanced notification curtain, and other ICS-centric improvements.
