Share your "Minimalistic Text" Setup

Idea...

Minimalistic Text [Play Store] is one of the more popular Android widgets for power users. It is one of the most powerful widgets on Android that I have come across. Because of this power, however, it is also one of the more complicated widgets to set up.

Rules...

  1. Upload your .mtpref (located in your MinimalisticTextPreferences on your SD Card) to a file sharing site of your choice - I use Mediafire, though there are dozens of others.
  2. Take a screenshot of what your widget looks like, and post it along with the link to download the .mtpref - this just helps people know what they are getting in to.
  3. Include what size the widget is (3x2, 4x1, etc. etc.).

Instructions...

Start by downloading and installing Minimalistic Text. The connect your phone to your computer, and (on the root of your SD card) create a folder named "MinimalisticTextPrefences", without the quotes. After that, simply drag and drop whatever Minimalistic Text preference files were downloaded in to the folder you just created.

To put a widget on your home screen, select the size of widget the creator specified from the Widget selection view (for example, the "Super Clock" widget I provided below is 3x2 horizontal). Minimalistic Text will automatically open after you have inserted one of its default widget sizes. When that screen appears, scroll all the way to the bottom and tap "Restore". After tapping that you will be presented with any of the widgets you downloaded and saved to the file you created.

I'll start...

Keep in mind that any of these widgets should be thought of as templates: they can be tweaked and edited to match a particular kind of homescreen.
