Lens Advice

Hey guys!

New to photography, new to the forum. I'm hoping y'all can help me in my search for a new lens.

Last October, I purchased a Canon Rebel T3i along with an EF-S 18-55mm lens. Since then, I have acquired an EF-S 55-250mm lens, as well. As a graduation gift for finishing my Master's degree, I have the opportunity to select a new lens.

After perusing Amazon and seeking input from various photographer friends, I'm still undecided. So, "The Lens," what would you get?
