Apple launches iTunes Store in 12 countries across Asia
Just a few days after expanding its App Store to 32 additional territories, Apple this week launched its iTunes Store in 12 new Asian locales, including Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan. In addition to these regions, the iTunes Store is now available in Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Users in these countries will now have access to more than 20 million songs from local and international artists, as well as a vast array of apps and movies. Apple is also launching its iTunes in the Cloud service within these countries, along with iTunes Match. To download iTunes 10.6, click here.
