90 Seconds on The Verge - Mirrored Screen Mystery

This is going sound weird. But I noticed on the first 90 Seconds On The Verge (June 25), left hand side of the screen while Josh is talking about Yammer, Google I/O:

Someone is in the background with 2 external displays, mirrored showing the exact same desktop.

Then again the next day on June 26:

Just curious, what would be the use of having same video output mirrored. Comparing output under 2 color profiles?
