EVERIO Full HD GZ-E10SEU - real Full HD ?

Hello,

I've bought the JVC EVERIO Full HD GZ-E10SEU.

I was glad because it was a "FULL HD".

It it sold as :

recording Full HD 1920x1080

outpout : 1920x1080/50p

Recording at 24 Mbit/s.

But, the CMOS is only 1,5 méga pixels.

How is it possible to have 1920x1080 with only 1,5Mp ??

For me, FullHD is only on 2Mps. (1920x1080=2 073 600)

Somebody have the answer ?

JVC is foolish ?
