Why don't we have a true Backup system in Android?
I understand that one of the options in every install wizard since Froyo allows you to backup and restore certain settings, wifi access points, etc...
But why must I be rooted in order to backup and restore all of my apps? Seriously, I love my Galaxy Nexus, and I will be loving my Nexus 7 once my preorder ships ( :] ), but the only way that I can do a full backup of my apps and their respective data is through TiBackup (no offense whatsoever to TiB, love the app), which requires root.
Google dropped the ball so far at I/O not announcing any sort of backup system for apps/games on our phones.
