The GoPro, Contour, and Sony's prototype are filling a burgeoning market of "action cameras" and JVC has announced its competitor with the GC-XA1 Adixxion. Unlike the GoPro, JVC's camera is water, dust, and shock-proof without having to use an external enclosure. Wi-Fi also comes standard, which bests the GoPro's external add-on and the Contour's slower Bluetooth connection. The Adixxion also has an integrated LCD, something none of the cameras mentioned include. JVC has created an all-in-one package for people who are willing to work with a slightly larger camera but aren't willing to give up features. JVC is planning on releasing the Adixxion later this summer for $349.95.
