Computer Shopper Magazine - anyone remember this badboy??
This magazine was basically the internet in magazine form as far as shopping for parts....
The internet wasn't in the public's hands yet at the time. I was running a BBS on the gulf coast of Miississippi at the time.
I used to love just going through this magazine looking at the ads for the lowest price possible on a part. Companies like Micron, Packard Bell, Gateway, and many others used to have like 10 pages each, and the whole magazine was easily over 300 pages.
Many a tree was chopped for our pc satisfaction.
I wonder if Newegg ever had an ad in there...
