Checklist for my next PC

Hi Guys,

I am making a checklist of all items for my next PC that I plan on getting in Oct/Nov 2012, please add/edit/delete your suggestions here.

  • Ideally I am looking for something like a Transformer Book the one with a detachable keyboard dock (I am also interested in something like Lenovo Ideapad Yoga)
  • Need Core i7 preferable if non ULV, but I guess ULV can work (comparable to full I5?)
  • Need 16GB RAM (can work with 8GB but 16 GB will be ideal given that I run VMs)
  • Switchable GPU in the keyboard dock.
  • SIM Card slot in the tablet itself with 3G/4G
  • Wifi N dual band
  • Atleast 1 USB 3 in tablet itself.
  • Micro SD card slot in the tablet.
  • Tablet itself should last 5 hours without keyboard dock (light web browsing, skype, email, light ms office work etc).
  • With Keyboard dock, tablet should last 10 hours of hardcore compile fun (mostly Visual Studio/Netbeans/PHPStorm)
  • Atleast 128 GB SSD
  • Ideally 500 GB Harddrive or more in keyboard dock.
  • Screen resolution of 1080p or more!
  • Front facing Camera and Mic in the tablet itself (for Skype on the go)
  • Gigabit LAN Port, Couple of USB 3 and a 1 Thunderbolt in the keyboard dock.
  • Full HDMI port in Keyboard dock.
  • Ability to replace the battery if it goes DUD (either tablet or keyboard dock). My experience with my current HP laptop is with continuous usage, battery dies down in a year :( . I plan on using this PC for at least next 3 years!
  • Shouldn't get too hot with continuous usage (big problem with my current HP HDX 16t laptop)
  • Budget $2500
Kindly note that I plan on using this with big screen and external keyboard and mouse (Logitech - wireless). So you think these requirements are realistic ? Or Should I have an ultrabook and a tablet (Ipad) ? I don't play much games, email/RSS/browsing/light pdf reading : is all that I care for while in tablet mode.
