Galaxy Nexus GSM Connection Woes
Dear all,
I am regularly experiencing connection dropouts on my GSM 4.04 Galaxy Nexus.
These dropouts pertain both to data and voice which is absolutely horrendous. I was offered and accepted a fix via OTA right after the 4.04 upgrade but really to no avail.
The connection dies most of the times when I get near to a "open" WLAN Hotspot. Apparently, the SGS tries to connect to that hotspot but fails bc most of the times you still need a pass. What happens next is that both mobile data and also voice go grey (offline).
I have to switch to airplane mode and back to get reception. I have found many complaints on the web but no solution as of yet. Is there anything you guys are aware off to fix this bug?
