Apple's reflexive request to have the latest leading Android smartphone banned from the US market has been met with stern resistance from Samsung, which maintains that the Galaxy S III is a unique device that is both "innovative and distinctive." Both companies' actions are starting to feel inevitable at this point, with Apple now claiming infringement of a pair of software patents and asking a US district court to ban sales of the GS III, and Samsung vociferously denying any wrongdoing.
