I found this link today detailing how the Bing logotype would look given it had more typical font proportions. I personally cannot stand the look of the current Bing logotype. It looks crushed, like it was re-sized in Photoshop by an amateur graphic designer. I can not find documentation on why they insist on displaying it like this (although I have heard that it might be because the counters look more like human eyes this way), and, quite frankly, the logo itself is a seemingly big departure in terms of design when related to other Microsoft products. Maybe this is personal, but I feel like the design world frowns upon Microsoft's design.
Clearly my opinion does not matter, so my question: Which do you like better? The original or the re-sized version?
