Sony updates Xperia Mini Pro to Android 4.0
In introducing Ice Cream Sandwich, Google's version 4.0 of Android, Matias Duarte said that it will be the one mobile OS for devices of every size and form factor — and this week Sony's living up to that promise by rolling out the ICS upgrade for the 3-inch Xperia Mini Pro. Launched last summer, this rather rotund handset won us over with its exemplary physical keyboard and quirky Corner UI modifications that made good use of the limited screen real estate. Now Sony's rejuvenating its appeal with the addition of Android 4.0. To see how much of an upgrade this represents, you'll need to connect your Mini Pro to Sony's PC Companion or Bridge for Mac application, depending on your desktop OS of choice.
