Flash Player 11.3 and Adobe Air 3.3 now available
After a relatively short public beta period, Adobe has updated Flash and Air for most users today. The new version of Flash Player, 11.3, allows for keyboard input when in fullscreen and reduces audio latency. It also improves security for Mac and Firefox users by offering automatic updates to the former and sandboxing to the latter. Adobe would also like to point out that it will be compatible with Gatekeeper in OS X Mountain Lion.
The new version of Air is primarily beneficial to developers, who can now use the platform to more easily target iOS 5.1 and the iPad's Retina Display. Adobe says it should also work better on Android now, throttling "resource usage when games or applications are in the background." Both are available for Windows and Mac (sorry Linux users) right now.
