Space monsters are rad. Also: fitting with the “Polynauts” motif :D - PaddyStardust

Welcome to Polynauts Central on Thursday July 12th, here at Polygon on The Verge.

There were some issues with todays Polynauts Central article that unfortunately delayed this very short, basic post. I'm sorry. So much in fact I split it into two (I'll update this post with comments soon).

Whilst that's going on I'll finish writing some thoughts on my unfortunately too-brief Develop experience for you all to read a bit later on today. And again, 1562 comments on yesterdays Polynauts Central - I'll never call your collective bluff publicly again any time soon folks..

I would also like to point out (again, lol) that I don't work for Vox Media, Polygon or The Verge. I'm just your community Polygrunt who does this because he enjoys it, because he cares about the community and because he loves writing again. I only mention this because I was asked twice on Twitter about the launch date for Polygon.com before referring the askers to Brian Crecente; who finally got to say something awesome about the whole thing.

So, for now until the Polygon home is ready you can hit me up at @shaunmcilroy on Twitter if you want to talk/chatter/suggest anything that I can do to help make your time here on Polynauts Central more fun and welcoming.

Now, let's talk about stuff right here in the comments below.

New to the Polygon Community? Please take time to read the Community Guidelines as laid out by the team here at The Verge. Particularly "Foul language: Cussing, swearing, or just plain nasty: all of the above are not cool here." That goes for pornograhic material as well folks.
