Anyone have or seen a 21:9 TV?
Hey folks. I was recently made aware of the existance of TVs with an aspect ratio of 21:9. For those who are not aware of them, it's a TV that is just as tall as a standard HDTV but a bit wider as to show movie without black bars if it was filmed in panavision or cinemascope or whatever. It looks awesome from what I can see online. Has anyone seen one in a store or does anyone here actually own one? I can't really afford one anyway at the moment, but I'd still like to know if it's "worth it". Here is a link to Vizio's model, which as far as I can tell is the only one available in the US, http://www.vizio.com/cinemawide/overview . Philips makes one, but it is only available in the UK.
