What would happen if Microsoft products dissapear for a day.
I've seen a lot of Microsoft bashing lately calling them stagnant, slow, uncreative. But after watching some of the keynotes of the WPC12 conference in Toronto, I realized how big Microsoft is and how much they impact our world.Those pathetic Apple videos showcasing people been enabled by Apple products are just nothing really.
They might not be as successful enchanting people and taking money away from them, but the fact is that Microsoft products are one of the most in our global economy, they are really an engine that enables innovation and progress.
To stress the importance that Microsoft has, just imagine what would happen if all Microsoft products are gone for a day. I can just imagine that there will be chaos, similar to what a massive electrical outage will cause.
Now, think the same about Google or Apple, I can really see a lot of sad people but the world will go on. There are other hugely important companies as well, IBM, Oracle, Dell, HP, etc... that really drive the core of technology in our world, but nothing like what Microsoft is today.
