MAKE Magazine's latest attempt to stir up the DIY spirit comes in the form of Maker Camp, a summer camp geared towards teens that will be hosted hosted on Google+. The camp will begin on July 16th and run until August 24th, and every Monday through Thursday morning a camp counselor will post instructions for a new project. In the afternoon campers can gather in a Hangout to ask questions, share photos and videos, and talk about their completed projects. The first project will be a compressed air rocket led by MAKE Magazine's guest counselor Rick Shertle; other guests include Boing Boing's Mark Frauenfelder and Adafruit's Limor Fried. Maker Camp is open to anyone with a Google+ account, and it sounds like a really cool way to spend the summer making awesome things and connecting to others with similar interests.
