Wireless home music company Sonos has released a visual update for its Controller apps for iOS and Android. The apps, which allow you to control all of your Sonos products from your phone or tablet, have been very popular with Sonos' customers, so much so that the company stopped selling its standalone controller at the beginning of June.

The update for iOS is mostly visual and includes Retina graphics for both the iPhone and iPad for the first time. The sole feature update is the ability to control your Sonos' volume using your iOS device's hardware volume keys. With the Android version, Sonos says that that the app is now optimized for all Android tablets, offering enhanced landscape and album art modes. You can find the update via the Play Store for Android devices and from Apple's App Store for both iPhone and iPad.
