I don't want a humongous phone!

I have a confession to make. I am a huge nerd with small hands.

This is getting in the way of me picking up a new phone. My contract is almost over and I am looking at the newest phones with the best specs and performances. I just can't comfortably use all those new high spec phones. Phones like the One X and the Galaxy Nexus are out of my comfort zone and even the smaller One S is just too big. I am currently using a Desire S (what can I say, I like HTC phones) and its 3,7" screen is just perfect for me.

I can see why phone manufacturers are making big phones: they sell. But why can't they release smaller phones with the same internals as their big brothers? They are scaring people away who don't want big phones, like me.
