Help me buy a phone
Skip to the third para if you're in a hurry.
My Nokia E71 is on its last legs. It has been by my side for the last 4 years and I have tolerated it and Symbian, because I've never pushed it to the limit. No songs, no videos, bare minimum apps. I use it only for email-checking, calling and occasionally for directions while driving so I never really jumped to another phone even as the world passed me by and moved to iPhone and android devices. I didn't need to.
I use Profimail, which is a pretty sweet email app and it kept me in touch with my workplace. And because I had paid a whopping 20$ for that app, I tolerated the E71's lags and usual Symbian problems for so long. But off late it's been freezing a lot. I can 'fix' it by restoring to factory settings and make it usable for a month again, but I'm just sick of it. I want to move on.
So essentially I want a phone that:
- I don't have to fix, suffers little to no lags
- Has an email app, default one or otherwise, that works properly. I work on Word files and attach/download documents and pictures a lot
- Has A sturdy design (Willing to compromise on this)
- And can call :)
I'm not in the US, and cost is not a factor. Help me!
