Android tablet users with a penchant for HBO programming have been in a bit of a bind recently: the HBO Go streaming app didn't support any Android tablets until last month, when it added support for just one, the Kindle Fire. That's changed today, with a new update to the app working on all Android tablets running up to version 4.0.4 of Google's mobile operating system. Tablet support seems to be about it in terms of marquee features, although the ubiquitous bugfixes are said to be included as well. Of course, one very important device is left out: the Nexus 7, which of course is the first tablet to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box. We imagine HBO will want to add support for Google's flagship tablet sooner rather than later, but for everybody else, you can download the update from the Play Store now.
