Air Video alternative for Android.
I was truly bummed to find out there is no air video client for android (though I hear a native client is coming soon).
I have tried both Emit Free and Mirage Beta both with unsatisfactory results. Playback through the Emit app starts out fine but then fades to black after two seconds. With Mirage Beta, I cannot get audio working, although video looks fine.
I have found a truly great alternative for Air Video using the UPnPlay app + MX PLayer.
With these two apps in tandem, I can stream video from my mac to my Nexus 7 perfectly. I am using PS3 Media Server as my DNLA compliant UPnPlay server.
