Crazy Idea To Fix Yahoo
Well, in the last podcast they asked people what they would do to fix yahoo. It got me thinking and I came up with this crazy idea. What if Yahoo took vanilla android and made phones? Only instead of tying into google services it would tie in with yahoo services, but everything else would be vanilla android. I know they would lose the market place, but this is where yahoo would strike a deal with the carriers for a revenue split a curate their own android marketplace much like amazon has. Would something like this even be feasible? What are your thoughts? Would you get a phone like this with vanilla android, or does having google services trump having the ui?
