Front-Page Order of Articles
I made a similar post back when The Verge was only a few days old. Since I feel like it wasn't given enough attention, I'm going at it again.
I've been trying to figure out the pattern of the front-page article order. It doesn't seem to be fully chronological, so what kind of scheme does it follow? Popularity (based on what?!), or is there a guy in the office constantly deciding the order?
It is seriously bothering me (call it OCD?). I need to know the system, not only for the front-page order, but also what qualifies an article to go into the Top-Block, the "You Need To Read This Now", and "Quick Reads." I hope somebody can provide me some insight.
Mind you, I'm not complaining about the format, in fact I love it, I just want to know what I'm looking at.
