Why my Microsoft Flag is half-staff (half-mast).
I can't shake the feeling that I was let down terribly by Microsoft. I was led down the road that WP7 would eventually mature and be able to compete with existing smartphones. I was instrumental in getting my company to adopt this disaster and now I am the one looking like an ass, when my only option is to buy an obsolete Lumia 900. It's kinda Ironic when Nokia was running the "Beta test" ads .The dreams of a corporate device are faded, the ability for third-party apps to work in the background are gone. Lync on WP7..Horrible...Skype on WP7, no background support - EVER. What an embarassment, Maybe that's it, I'm embarassed by Microsoft. If I hear one more vendor tell me that Microsoft has not opened up the API for blah blah blah blah... Anyone else feel this way ?
