Good:
- Speed
- Camera
- Removable battery
- MicroSD expansion
- Nice screen (especially for blacks)

Bad:
- Cheap plastic design
- Hardware buttons
(I personally prefer soft buttons a la Galaxy Nexus)
- Poor colour reproduction (especially whites)

Conclusion:
Samsung could have done much better with the Galaxy S3. It isn't poor per se but considering the hype that the Galaxy S2 has created, the S3 is kind of underwhelming. All in all, the S3 is an impressive phone, but it doesn't blow away competitors like how the S2 did at its time.
