Discussion on 2012/07/27 Vergecast about International Distribution
So there was a (rather inflamed) discussion on today's Vergecast with a caller from Georgia (the country, not the state) about international distribution of content. The caller kept pointing to Steam as an example of a service which doesn't suffer from the sorts of regional restrictions that other music and TV show/movie services do. I just wanted to point out that this is not true. There's some information on Wikipedia and plenty more discussion on the Steam forums.
