Mountain Lion Won't Roar
Looking for some help here as the Apple forums have thrown up nothing.
Yesterday I donwloaded Mountain Lion for my 2009 MacBook Pro running 8GB of RAM, but when I tried to install I got the message "This copy of the Install OS X Mountain Lion application can't be verified. It may have been corrupted or tampered with during downloading.", and the instruction to delete the copy of Mountain Lion and re-download. I tried downloading it again but the same thing happened, so left it for a while, rebooted just in case, and re-downloaded this afternoon, but the same message still persisted when trying to install.
Unfortunately, I have a download limit on my broadband of 40GB, and having used up close to 15GB just on Mountain Lion already can't afford to keep downloading it. Any ideas what's causing this and what the solution is? I thought maybe bad RAM, as I recently upgraded my memory and have been getting a few suspect crashes over the past few days, especially with Safari 6 crashing after its update, but don't see why it would cause this issue.
Thanks for any replies.
