It's the 6th iPhone not the 5th
With the months winding down to the new iPhone, the rumours for this new "magical and revolutionary" device are going to increase. While reading the Verge, I kept seeing that the new iPhone referenced as the iPhone 5. I don't know where this came from, maybe from the fact that people wished the 4S would have been the 5. With the release of the 4S the iPhone 5 name should have been removed from everyone's memory since the next iPhone cannot be the iPhone 5 since it's the sixth.

- iPhone 4S
- iPhone ?
Besides adding an S every second year, there has not really been a pattern in Apple's naming convention but with the iPhone 4 it suggests that they do count generations. The iPhone 4 was the fourth iPhone so logic dictates that the next iPhone would be the iPhone 6. I don't know if anyone else has thought of this but I would really like it if new posts would mention it being the 6th iPhone rather than the iPhone 5 since it really doesn't make much sense. I know that in the end this won't make any difference since the 6th iPhone will probably be the new iPhone but I'd like to know that people aren't just posting rumours without thinking if they make sense or not.
