Nexus 7 Advice
After a long time exclusively using iOS as a mobile platform, I recently purchased a GSM Galaxy Nexus and began using Android for the first time. So far I love what Jelly Bean has to offer, especially with notifications, multitasking, and widgets. I still have an iPhone and iPad, but they might start collecting dust soon. So, I'm considering purchasing a Nexus 7 and selling my iPad, which would put a few hundred extra bucks in my pocket.
I tried out a Nexus 7 and was surprised at just how small a 7" screen looks and feels in person being used to the 9.7" iPad screen. The screen difference between the iPhone and iPad is significant, but the difference is much less noticeable between the Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7. I'm concerned that if I switch to the Nexus combo, the smaller discrepancy between screens will keep me from using both.
Can anyone who has switched from the iPad to the Nexus 7 comment on what the experience was like adjusting to the smaller screen, and if you found yourself using the device differently because of the screen size?
I would also love any advice about getting used to Android when coming from iOS and how to utilize Android on a tablet.
