Patton Oswalt's letters to comedians and the "industry"
At the 2012 Just For Laughs Comedy Conference in Montreal, Patton Oswalt read aloud two letters: One to comedians, and one to the industries who typically make comedians "successful" (Hollywood, broadcast companies, etc).
Both letters touch very nicely on the broadcast industry, the possibilities for comedians and the future in general. Overall, Oswalt's keynote describes the power of the Internet for comedians and what this may mean for the comedy industry.
Personally, I am excited to see the different ideas that comedians and the industry will implement to get their material seen.
You can read the letters in their entirety here on The Comic's Comic or here on Third Beat.
