Jelly Bean Tips, Tricks, and Discoveries
I had a similar post when ICS came out, and I thought I would do one for Jelly Bean. I know that Jelly Bean is only an incremental update, but I'm sure we can find things that not all of us know.
I'll give a few examples.
- Google search understands context. For example try saying "where was Bill Clinton born?" then follow up with "how old is he?" Google search understands that you are still referring to Bill Clinton
- When you first launch Google Now, you can do a voice search by simply saying Google followed by your query
- You can adjust how often cards appear in Google Now. For example, I've set my weather card to only show up in the morning. You can also disable cards by activating Google Now, scrolling to the bottom, and select the vertical ellipses (I don't know what they're actually called) select Google Now, and adjust the individual cards.
