Having recently bought my Pre 2 for £100, I can say that by no means does it compete directly with the Galaxy S III or iPhone 4S, but neither does it need to. With such a low price of for buying a brand new smartphone, the Pre 2 is amazing. Its 1GHz processor and webOS 2.2.4 completely desecrate ant cheap, Froyo-toting Android device at the same price point, and offers the same screen size, resolution and processor speed of the Wildfire S for £50 less, or even more if the Wildfire is unlocked. The App Catalog may be somewhat barren, but there are a few good iOS game ports, and a vibrant homebrew community, not to mention HP Synergy, Just Type, and many other features that set apart webOS as unique. Not the greatest phone, but certainly one of the best cheap, SIM-free & unlocked devices available today.
