Help with phone decision

I am looking for new phone.

The question is should i buy right now or wait till oct/nov when there will be lot of new phones. Next nexus, wp8, iphone.

I don't want to wait for JB 1 year. So should i go for HTC one X or S. S got right display size, but X got better battery.

Or I wait for nexus and maybe look how wp8 looks. But it's 3.5 months...

Is there really a big reason why shouldn't go htc except updates and good price, because where i live its not 350$ but 450-500$.
