Are there any PC building simulator (hardware configuration check)?
I hope the title was clear enough to not mislead anybody into thinking I'm asking for some sort of video game - lol. But if that did mislead you, sorry about that.
Actually, I have been looking through parts lists on different hardware retailer sites from time to time, just on random urges (lol again), but also because I've been keeping an eye out for changes in price, when prices of hardwares drop a bit I may actually build my next PC. Anyways, I know we can compare parts individually - e.g. use Intel website to compare processor, gpureview website for graphic cards, etc ... but does anyone know a website (or a software, all the better) that let us put in certain hardware configurations like processors, graphic cards and RAM together (i.e. nearly like you are building a virtual system) and give us some sort of performance estimate?
It would be great if it can even give us things like benchmarks and experience indexes (like the one built into Windows 7), but I'm probably dreaming here ... ha ha ...
Well, thanks for any information.
