Weird Activity after Hard Sleep on rMBP Running 10.8?
I've seen some forum posts and articles around the webs about some of the bugs with Mountain Lion. However, I can't find one specifically about my issue. I recently purchased a Retina MacBook Pro, and the first thing I did when I booted it was upgrade to Mountain Lion. So, I really have no point of reference when it comes to this.
After my computer is in sleep mode for over an hour or so, it starts to act weird. First of all, it takes around 4-5 seconds for the mouse to appear. I vaguely understand that that is natural, since it was in some sort of hard sleep mode, but it gets a bit more frustrating. Next, apps in the dock do not animate or have indicator lights on them. Lastly, the mouse/keyboard will hang up, and the only short term remedy is to hit Ctrl + Tab, and then I regain control. However, it's a reoccurring issue, and does not quit unless I restart my system. It's really frustrating, and I was wondering if anyone was having a similar experience. My late 2009 iMac is running Mountain Lion like a boss, so I'm not sure if it's purely a software issue or what.
My only idea would be that perhaps there's an issue with Power Nap. But, I have no idea.
