Albums. In your heart of hearts, you know you should be listening to the whole damn thing instead of just your favorite track. You also suspect that they don't make 'em like the used to. Well, you can now assuage your guilt and confirm your suspicions at the same time: Google Play is offering up 45 albums for $2.99 (and five more for $4.99). Google says that it's doing it in honor of the birthday of the phonograph, which is sometimes pegged as August 12th, 1877, but the truth is Google Play offers content deals on a fairly regular basis. In any case, Google calls the selection a set of "Vinyl-Era classics," we just call it a chance to pick up A Night At the Opera on the cheap.
