My mother got the Walmart edition of this laptop which comes with an i3, but was $100 less. Me, being the computer guy, had to set it up.

Design: I think it's an mediocre looking laptop. I don't care much for the lid's design. The screen has a two tone bezel. It's thick for an Ultrabook (but it gives you good battery and Ethernet). And the bottom of it is soft.

Keyboard: Best laptop keyboard I have ever used. Feels incredibly nice to use.

Touchpad: Okay, but two finger scrolling is mediocre.

Display: Ugly two tone bezel and 768 screen. I personally wouldn't get a 13+" laptop without at least a 1600x900 screen.

Performance: Good enough for Internet usage and uninstalling bloatware. Don't know much beyond that but my mom hasn't complained.

Noise: Very.

Heat: Not really.

Battery: Lasted through my general setup stage (installing software, removing bloat, setup, etc) which is about 2 hours with plenty battery to spare.

Software: A ton of bloat but easily removable and quickly removable thanks to the solid state drive.
