I'm at a dilema, Series 9, X1 Carbon, or UX32VD?
The last time I bought a laptop was in summer 2008. Since that time, crazy stuff like getting old happened. But the reason I haven't bother to buy new laptop in 4 years is because I maxed out the spec of the HP DV9700t I bough when I customized it through HP website.

This thing has a 1400x900 screen, max at the time. Two HDD bays, which I've taken the privilege to upgrade to a 1.5 terabytes totaled of HDD space. It runs on a T9500 CoreDuo2, which is no slouch even today. It also has a pretty good Nvidia GS8600M video that handles games and does hardware acceleration stuff pretty good.
Since then I've upgraded the ram and installed an SSD, which make it feels like I needn't buy a new laptop anyway. Then just recently it went though a heart transplant--replacing the whole motherboard through HP service due to overheating issue. So this laptop is basically brand new again and will probably run for another 4 years.
But I want move on with the time and I'm debating between getting a new laptop. With delicious designs like the Samsung Series 9, ASUS UXes, and Thinkpad X1 Carbon, I don't think I can resist any of them.

I don't think I ever had 3 options equally to choose from. So I think I need an intervention from you internet.
