How to pursue my dream of becoming a radio host
I've always wanted to be a radio host growing up. Seemed like a really cool job. I work as a cashier at a Starbucks and am complimented about my "pleasant talking voice" on a regular basis by customers and my coworkers. A few people keep pushing me to pursue this job so I thought I'd give it a shot. Now the only issue is, I have no idea about where to begin. Futhermore, the radio industry appears to be in a decline right now so I want to make the most of it while I have a chance.
I currently attend a large Canadian University so I suppose I could apply to the radio station there? How would I gain exposure?
Thanks for taking the time to read through my thread. Any advice would be really appreciated!
