The new SkyDrive is super slick
Just logged into my outlook and got an update for the new SkyDrive. It's very speedy so far on IE10. Firefox 14 chokes on it though. All the standard Metro UX is there. I think it'll work very nicely with Surface.
There's a new group section to create OneNote and shared folders, which is going to be useful now that school is going to start soon.
The settings are pretty robust too. There's a group conversion option, but I haven't start one to know what it's like. Though, the group filesize is limited to 1GB--which I think should be enough but would've been nicer if the user can choose.
The gallery is very nicely done. Most things are animated and the full pictures load in very fast. There are only two layout options. The thumbnail view is default, but you can change to the list view if you want.
Overall, SkyDrive feels very polished. Chuck Norris would approve this =)
