Samsung announced in March that it had sold five million Galaxy Notes, and now months later it's sold another five million. Samsung made the announcement during the recent Galaxy launch event, bringing the total amount of Notes sold worldwide to 10 million. While the device's 5.3-inch screen seemed a questionable choice at first, the Note's proven to be a genuine success for Samsung, and with the phone spreading its wings to additional carriers in the US we wouldn't be surprised to see that total continue to climb. The launch of the Galaxy Note 10.1 provides an even greater growth opportunity for the Note brand — though we unfortunately found that the new tablet didn't quite live up to our expectations.
